LIFE SHIFT

Life Shift is the ways of working and life that Lynda Gratton, a Professor of Management Practice at London Business School, advocates in her co-authored book- The 100 Year Life. In this workshop, participants will learn new principles and philosophy that are rooted in Japanese values such as Ikigai, Wabi-sabi, the philosophy of emptiness, Seiri Seiton and Shoshin. Ikigai can be described as "a motivating force; something or someone that gives a person a sense of purpose or a reason for living and being". The programme will unlock participants to reflect their previous path using life-shift assessment and re-design their own lives by introducing these values. It will eventually add a motivation to day to day work responsibility and encourage wellbeing of oneself, office environment and society.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP

Who benefits from this programme? If you are in a situation like....

Kumi provides a fascinating, stimulating and enjoyable workshop exploring the Japanese values-driven culture. The workshop was the perfect afternoon session to bring the staff together to reflect on the values of my company as well as providing fun activities to work on as a group. Kumi takes great care over the preparation of the workshop, which is reflected in her thoughtful and inspiring presentation. We had a great deal of fun practising calligraphy, making origami cranes and enjoying a traditional tea ceremony. A thoroughly enjoyable workshop which acts as a good platform for further exploration of the corporate values and culture.
